Caroline has officially been out as long as she was in. If only pregnancy went as quickly as the first nine month's of a baby's life we'd be golden. Nine months old is a fantastic age! Caroline interacts more than ever and loves to play.
- She has started scooting. Caroline's definitely not a crawler yet, but she's mobile. If only she could learn to go forward.
- Caroline started clapping this month, too. It's adorable! She'll clap when I sing "If You're Happy and You Know It" and when I say "yay!" even if I don't clap first... unless I'm trying to get her to do it for someone. If you're a mom, you know how that goes.
- She can feed herself finger foods. She loves puffs - fruit and veggie flavor, and just about anything else she can get her hands on. The only thing we've found she doesn't like is yogurt.
- Caroline is babbling up a storm. If you baby talk to her, she'll do it right back. It's hysterical to hear Caroline and my dad have conversations - sometimes she starts jabbering when she sees him.
Riley loves trying to get Caroline to do her new tricks. She'll get really close to her and say, "You can do it, sweetheart! Clap your hands." When Caroline starts to chatter, Riley will announce that "Caroline can't talk, but she does baby talk."
Caroline's dolls are from SSK Designs on Etsy.

She is so adorable!!
ReplyDeleteHi! I love reading your blog and seeing your pretty girls and all the pretty things you make. I have a daughter around the same age as Caroline so I love seeing her updates. I have a question. What are some of the things you feed her? My daughter hates baby food so I'm needing to move on to finger foods. I didn't do finger foods with my son until a lot later so I'm a little stumped on what to give Reagan. :) Thank you!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh she's adorable! Both your girls are just precious...such a sweet family! :) Looking forward to following along your blog!
