I've been really motivated to work through my yarn stash lately... these little newborn hats don't get through it too fast, but at least it's a start. This color scheme was motivated by the cover of this book - I didn't have the exact colors, but it's fun finding inspiration in the little things around us.
Also, I know it's fun being able to wear one hat with lots of different outfits. I thought having a beanie in the shop with four different flowers would be a great way to accomplish that. They're available here.
These flowers are so fun and easy to make, too. I'm going to be making these for gifts and for my little girls to wear. When Caroline was a baby, these were perfect for attaching to headbands. It helped let the whole world know that my bald baby was a girl. :)
