On Husbands and Contributions

David3

Today is my husband's 28th birthday, and I simply couldn't let the day go by without acknowledging it.  The Lord has blessed me with an unbelievably talented, loving, and godly spouse. He's my best friend, a wonderful father to our little girls, and a great youth pastor. He loves all of his roles and works to do them to the best of his ability.

From the time he leaves in the morning, Riley asks "when's Daddy coming home?" and Caroline's little face lights up with the biggest smile whenever she sees him. My favorite part of the day is when my husband gets home from church to spend time with "his girls."

Better Than Toll House Cookie

We love you, David, and we couldn't ask for a better leader for our home! Oh, and don't worry... I'll be making a yummy batch of your favorite chocolate chip cookies later this afternoon.

And, on another note, I'm super excited to let you know that I'm going to be contributing to JoJo & Eloise: Simply Sweet Things starting on the 15th of this month. I'm super excited, and the first post is all ready to go live at 8 a.m. EST on Monday.
