I've put several new items in the shop this month and wanted to share them with you and let you know where I purchased the patterns (since I know we have lots of crocheters who read this). Please know that these pattern writers have not asked me to review their patterns and I didn't receive their patterns for free.
The first is this adorable bear hat. The pattern doesn't include ears, but I decided to stick some on. I purchased this pattern from Blue J Crochet on Etsy. It's called the Shabby Chic Shell Stitch Earflap Hat. This pattern was true to size and clearly written.
Just in time for fall, I made this pumpkin hat by Ladybug Designs. When I was searching for patterns, this one was definitely the cutest pumpkin hat that I saw. I can't find a link to the specific pattern at the moment (she must be all sold out), but I definitely love the final product! It's true to size which is very nice.
If you don't crochet, these hats are all available in the Daisy Cottage Designs shop
I found an adorable pumpkin beanie pattern that worked up with a fold up brim. I had a mom who wanted a hat with no brim for her preschooler because the 4 year old would think the brim was too boyish so I remembered seeing a berry hat at Little Birdie Secrets with a shell bottom like the one in your post. I just combined the two. The pumpkin beanie pattern is found at http://www.favecrafts.com/Crochet-for-Baby/Baby-Pumpkin-Crochet-Beanie
